Degree Overview:

The International Foundation in Science and Engineering is a one-year program designed to prepare students for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in a range of computing, mathematics, engineering, and science-related subjects at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Objectives:

• Progress to Manchester Metropolitan University, the UK’s 2nd modern university for research power and 38th overall (Research Excellence Framework 2021).
• Improve academic English and advanced research skills, including academic writing through lab reports and assignments.
• Gain hands-on experience with degrees that offer the opportunity to study abroad or complete an industry placement.
• Progress to Manchester Met's Faculty of Science and Engineering, one of the UK’s largest research-led science and technology educators, with accreditations including IET, BCS, and IMA.
• Dedicated research centers at Manchester Met, specializing in sports science, advanced materials, microbiology, and more, giving degree students access to cutting-edge teaching and facilities.
