Program Overview
This MSc Crop Production degree equips graduates to work as crop producers or managers in import/export organizations. The program covers the latest advancements in crop production and offers hands-on experience through a research glasshouse and industry visits. Graduates will gain an in-depth understanding of the supply chain from cultivation to distribution, preparing them for successful careers in the horticulture industry.

On successful completion of this MSc Crop Production degree, you'll posses the knowledge and skills to gain employment with crop producers and in management positions with major import/export organisations. There are also opportunities to undertake further research.

- The production horticulture industry has seen great change in recent years, in terms of technology, production techniques, and where and how crops are grown.
- With population growth and climate change, it’s vital to continue investigating new growing systems and crops which can be grown sustainably. We’ll also arrange visits to growers and post-harvest facilities.
- Tuition fees for UK students (2024/25): £8,996 (Full-time, per year)
- International students can pay their fees upfront, in full, or in two installments. A deposit of £4,000 or a sponsorship letter will be required.
