Outline:
The program structure is as follows:
- Year 1:
- Comprehensive four-week induction
- Two four-month mini-projects tailored to individual training needs and interests
- Three-month block spent developing and refining the project proposal for the main PhD project in consultation with the supervisory team
- Years 2-4:
- Main project, co-supervised by individuals from across at least two disciplines of fundamental biology, clinical science, and population health
- Regular opportunities to present work both in Bristol and beyond
Teaching:
The program offers a combination of research and transferable skills training, along with competitive funds for travel to conferences and workshops.
