Program Outline
Degree Overview:
The MSc in Sustainable Engineering is a one-year taught program designed for graduates seeking to deepen their knowledge in sustainable engineering. The program culminates in a supervised, research-based dissertation. The program aims to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary to create and maintain a more sustainable world within their chosen engineering field. It combines foundational knowledge and skills in sustainable engineering with specialization in one of three pathways:
- MSc Sustainable Engineering: Civil Engineering and the Built Environment
- MSc Sustainable Engineering: Renewable Energy
- MSc Sustainable Engineering: Product Development and Advanced Manufacturing A unique feature of the program is that dissertations are researched and written in groups, with each student making their own contribution. This approach reflects real-life engineering, where engineers collaborate with colleagues from different backgrounds.
