Program Overview
The MSc BioInnovation at Aberystwyth University provides distance learning in the integration of the Circular Economy into agrifood practice or policy. This program offers a blend of core and optional modules, including Sustainable Supply Systems and Controlled Environment Agriculture, assessed through coursework and forum discussions. Students conduct Work-Based Research Projects and are supported by web-based training materials, including podcast lectures and e-tutorials.
Program Outline
Aimed at those working with or within the Welsh agrifood supply chains, this course is delivered via distance learning. You may study individual modules for your own continuing personal development (CPD), or may build them towards a range of postgraduate qualifications, namely the full MSc, PGDip or PGCert.
Outline:
- Duration: The MSc can be completed in 3-5 years. The PGDip can be completed in 2-3 years and the PGCert in 1-2 years.
- Contact Time: The research elements of our qualifications are carried out in your workplace with regular academic supervision. The training is web-based which means that as long as you have access to a reasonable broadband connection (i.e. are able to stream videos such as on YouTube), you can study where and when best suits you. Learning material includes podcast lectures, e-group projects, guided reading, interactive workbooks and discussion forums, as well as assignments and e-tutorials.

These are NOT subject to discount.
