This is a Level 7 (postgraduate) CPD course in Emergency Care, designed for nurses, paramedics, physicians' associates, and trainee practitioners of all disciplines. The course aims to enhance knowledge and provide practical upskilling through psychomotor skill sessions, simulation activities, keynote lectures, and workshops. It is based on the Royal College of Nursing Emergency Care Association's (2017) national curriculum and competency framework in Emergency Care. Experts and stakeholders have been involved in its development to ensure it provides the necessary knowledge and skills to equip those working in emergency care with the ability to drive quality patient care and outcomes.

- Focuses on acutely unwell adults, adults requiring resuscitation, minor injuries and illness, children and older people, mental health crisis, and emergency and disaster planning.

- Includes de-escalation and breakaway training.
