Outline:

The program is structured into two years:

Year 1 (Months 1-12):

• Four modules focusing on "being" a leader, with support from expert practitioners and a Leadership Tutor.

Year 2 (Months 13-24):

• Four modules focusing on "enacting" leadership.
• An applied innovative consultancy project designed within the student's own setting.

Final Semester (Months 25-30):

• The final research module, which is an innovative consultancy project started in Year 2, with students formally submitting the project and research outcomes.

Modules:

• Leading Performance and Analysis (20 credits): This module develops knowledge and skills to analyze financial performance in the education sector, measure and evaluate impact within the digital and technology spheres, assess business strategies, and use big data analytics to improve decision-making.
• Leading People and Communities (10 credits): This module introduces theories of socially just leadership, develops practical leadership skills, considers ethical leadership approaches, and explores methods to identify specific needs within educational settings and prioritize working ethically with people and communities.
• Marketing and Communication (10 credits): This module critically analyzes and evaluates strategic marketing and communication approaches, reviews integrated marketing communications, understands settings, partners, and stakeholders, identifies strategies for managing image and reputation, and considers ethical practice in sustaining responsible stakeholder relationships.
• Organisational Behaviour (10 credits): This module explores how organizations behave, critically evaluates theoretical perspectives, and considers how to enhance performance within settings.
It examines real-life case studies and encourages students to critically reflect on their own organizations.
• Education Research Innovation Project (60 credits): This individual final project provides an opportunity to create value within the student's organization, connecting to their leadership role and demonstrating impact within the organization and beyond.

• One module in each year is delivered via a four-day immersive face-to-face learning experience, requiring students to be on campus in Liverpool.
• All other modules are taught online, through "live online" sessions and online materials.
• Live online sessions take place on alternate Wednesdays during term time.
