The Master of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation, and Product Design is a two-year program designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the field. Students complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Year 1 and can continue to Year 2 for the Master of Engineering degree, which includes a supervised 30-credit dissertation. Degree Overview:
The Masters of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design aims to provide an educational experience that enables participants to achieve an integrated understanding of the operation and strategy of Packaging, Innovation and Product Design, and to develop appropriate intellectual and personal skills. The program is designed to offer participants the opportunity to gain a detailed knowledge of the underpinning theory and effective practice of Packaging, Innovation and Product Design, which will be of particular benefit in a range of management and leadership roles as well as in specialized Packaging, Innovation and Product Design roles.
Objectives:
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have demonstrated the competencies necessary to:
- Demonstrate personal qualities of empathy, leadership, teamworking.
- Manage their own learning and development, and evaluate their own experience through a reflective approach towards the impact of the programme on their lives.

- 2-3 evenings per week 6pm to 9pm (online) Plus selected Saturdays per 9am – 1pm (online).

- Induction for the September 2024 programmes takes place on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.

Other:
- Students who want to study on Masters of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design must first complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design to be able to progress to the Masters year.
- The flexibility and agility of this programme, will allow students to specialise in a pathway most suited to their skills, career aspirations, and employer needs that will give them research expertise in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design.
- Candidates who complete 60 credits (on completion of Year 1 of the programme) and wish to exit at this point will receive a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design. However, the full programme is offered as a 90 credit Master of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design degree. Graduates who complete the Postgraduate Diploma will be eligible to transfer to a Master of Engineering in Packaging, Innovation and Product Design. Year 2 of the Masters programme involves the completion of a supervised 30 credits dissertation.
