Building Information Modelling with Revit Architecture (Certificate L6, 10 ECTS)

The course covers the basics of 3D building modeling, architectural visualization, BIM functionality, and is suitable for both existing AutoCAD users and those new to CAD. The program is funded by HCI Pillar 3, with students paying €170 out of a total cost of €850.

Entry Requirements:
- Academic Entry Requirements: Minimum entry requirements are Grade OD3 or higher in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Applicants are also expected to have a basic knowledge of computers and computer applications. Knowledge of building design and construction is also desirable.
- Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) – Assessment: Applicants who do not hold the required qualifications can have their application assessed under RPL by selecting "YES" on the online application form.
- HCI Pillar 3 Funding: Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for the HCI Pillar 3 funding, as set out by the HEA. Details can be found HERE.
- English Language Requirement: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a score of 5.5 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a score of 6.0 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required.
