This program, titled "CNC Machining of Materials," is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines effectively. It also covers machine preparation, work holding methods, tooling selection and mounting, and speed and feed calculations.
- Structure: The program involves both theoretical and practical learning, with students programming CNC milling and turning machines and producing a small number of parts during the course.
- Course Schedule: The program runs for 27 weeks, with one evening session per week, lasting 3 hours. The sessions are held on Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm. The start date is 16/09/2024.

Entry Requirements:
Completed Leaving Certificate or Equivalent. Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable using Lathes and Mills desirable. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
