Program Overview
Through online lectures, students will master MEP systems, scheduling systems, and material take-offs. Access to Autodesk's Revit 2020 Academic version is included, and the course is continuously assessed, with no end-of-semester exams.

Degree Overview:
The program provides learners with a solid grounding in Mechanical and Electrical Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk’s Revit MEP. It encompasses the basics of Mechanical and Electrical Building systems as well as other BIM functionality such as tables and building quantities. This course will benefit existing Revit Architecture users, or users of other BIM systems looking to expand their knowledge.

- MEP Views, View Templating, Graphic Overrides
- Revit plumbing systems, duct systems, cable tray systems
- Electrical Systems in Revit, including switching systems, lighting systems and power systems
- Mechanical and Electrical scheduling systems and material take-offs

- 3 hour online lecture per week (10 weeks)

- Time Commitment:
- Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours.
- Total Learning Hours includes the time spent in class and the time spent completing work outside of college.
- The workload will increase at particular times e.g. when assignments are due.
