This is a Level 6 Certificate in Supervisory Management and Team Leadership (60 ECTS) offered online through the Flexible & Professional Learning department at TUS. It is a Springboard+ funded program, meaning it is fully funded for eligible applicants. The program emphasizes the growing importance of logistics and supply chain management in organizational growth, both nationally and internationally.

Outline:

Semester 1:

• Purchasing and Procurement in the Commercial Environment: This module explores the principles and practices of purchasing and procurement within a commercial environment.
It covers topics such as sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supply chain risk management. It covers topics such as production planning, inventory control, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain optimization.
• Leadership and Management Development: This module focuses on developing leadership and management skills.
It covers topics such as communication, motivation, team building, conflict resolution, and decision-making.

Semester 2:

• Contract Law, Customs and the Regulatory Environment: This module explores the legal and regulatory framework surrounding logistics and supply chain management.
It covers topics such as contract law, customs regulations, and international trade agreements.
• Distribution, Warehousing Design and Storage: This module focuses on the design, operation, and management of distribution centers and warehouses.
It covers topics such as warehouse layout, material handling, inventory management, and storage optimization.
• Applied Practice 1: Personal and Professional Context: This module provides students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios.
It involves a combination of case studies, projects, and presentations.

• Delivery: Tuesday & Thursday 6.30pm – 9.30 pm (online) Plus selected Saturdays per 9am – 1pm (online).
• Start Date: Week Commencing 09 September 2024
• Induction: Saturday 7 September 2024 from 9.00am to 1.00pm.
