Program Overview
The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Sport Management (with International Placement) is a four-year program preparing students for roles in business or the sport and leisure industry. Along with industry-based skills and accreditation, students gain practical experience through work placements. The program includes a six-month international work placement in Year 3, expanding students' global perspectives and enhancing their employability. Graduates are eligible for Level 9 and 10 postgraduate programs in business and related fields.

Degree Overview:
The Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Sport Management (with International Placement) is a dynamic four-year program that prepares students for diverse roles within business, or the sport and leisure industry. The Department works with students to find rewarding and challenging experiences overseas which will help them develop into leaders and innovators in the business or sports industries. This program offers students a range of industry-based skills and accreditation from the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) endorsed fitness instructor, The Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) and a Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Councils (PHECC) First Aid Responder qualification. You will also have the opportunity to use the skills you learn and the competencies you develop in work placements that are an integral part of this course. Over the past 10 years, the TUS Athlone Campus has developed into the premier sports facility in the Midlands. Our campus currently has both indoor and outdoor IAAF-approved running tracks, a FIFA standard AstroTurf pitch, two GAA pitches, a multipurpose sports hall, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
