This postgraduate program in Orofacial Pain, Oral Medicine, and Sleep Dentistry offers specialized training in diagnosing and treating pain in the oral cavity, oral diseases, and sleep disorders. Degree Overview:
This postgraduate specialization program in Orofacial Pain, Oral Medicine, and Sleep Dentistry is designed to provide specialized and updated training in the diagnosis and treatment of orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders, oral medicine, as well as the odontological management of patients with snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. The program covers three main areas:
- Orofacial Pain: Diagnosis and treatment of all entities that present with pain in the area of the oral cavity, masticatory muscles, jaws, and adjacent tissues, such as temporomandibular disorders, persistent neuropathic pain, and burning mouth syndrome.
- Oral Medicine: Identification and treatment of alterations and diseases located in the oral cavity, as well as the monitoring and management of potentially malignant lesions located in the oral cavity.
- Sleep Dentistry: Monitoring and management of snoring, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome, and sleep bruxism.
- 12.5 ECTS (6 weekends)
- 80 hours of theory + 15 hours of laboratory practice + 25 hours of clinical practice
- Module II: Anamnesis and Functional Exploration (Theoretical-Practical)
