It examines psychosocial risk and protective factors in socioemotional development, exploring emotional education in Spanish and international educational contexts. The module delves into programs for emotional education in schools, social and emotional competencies in the educational setting, and the socioemotional competencies of educators and other educational agents. It also addresses emotional education within families, the role of arts in emotional education, and emotional leadership in educational organizations. It examines conflict education, including types of conflicts, involved agents, emotions in conflict, conflict management, and resolution techniques. The module analyzes the social and emotional climate in schools, the relationship between emotional education and group cohesion, and emotional and behavioral problems in the classroom. It covers school coexistence and coexistence plans in educational centers, exploring tools for improving school coexistence such as school mediation, peer support, student companions, restorative practices, service learning, learning communities, and playgrounds for coexistence. The module covers educational coaching across different educational levels and introduces neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and its practical application in classrooms. It examines optimism, humor, creativity, resilience, coping mechanisms, and resistance to adversity. It also covers happiness and character strengths. It examines the applications of emotional intelligence for students with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning spaces, contexts, and processes. The module addresses emotional intelligence and co-education, emotional intelligence and gender, and emotional intelligence in culturally diverse environments and contexts of risk of exclusion.
