Module 1: Introduction to Traumatology
- Topics: Bandages, external fixators, internal fixation (plates, screws, wires), complications.
Module 2: Fracture Management

Module 3: Thoracic Limb
- Topics: Fractures of the scapula and humerus, anatomy and pathologies of the shoulder, approaches, tendonopathies, workshops on decision-making (clinical cases), fractures of the ulna and radius, metacarpals, anatomy and pathologies of the elbow and carpus, approaches, workshops on decision-making (clinical cases).
Module 4: Pelvic Limb
- Topics: Fractures of the pelvis, sacroiliac joint, and femur, anatomy and pathologies of the hip, approaches, workshops on decision-making (clinical cases), fractures of the tibia/fibula, tarsus, metatarsals, anatomy and pathology of the knee and tarsus, approaches, workshops on decision-making (clinical cases).
Module 5: Rehabilitation
- Topics: Anatomy and physiology of joints (general, followed by anatomy of each joint when discussing pathologies), osteochondrosis/osteochondritis, joint neoplasms, types of arthritis (bacterial, immune-mediated, etc. ), osteoarthritis (pathophysiology, treatment, etc.) (analgesics, chondroprotectors, rehabilitation), diagnostic techniques: arthrocentesis, radiographs (simple vs. contrast), advanced techniques (CT, MRI), general principles of arthroscopy, blocks.
Module 6: Diseases of Bone, Tendons, and Joints
- Topics: Pathologies of the growing animal (carpal laxity, growth plate alterations), osteomyelitis, bone tumors, metabolic and nutritional diseases, panosteitis and other non-nutritional/metabolic diseases, osteodystrophies, workshops on decision-making for fracture resolution.
Module 7: Neurosurgery
- Topics: Fractures/dislocations of the skull (mandible, maxilla), fractures/dislocations of the vertebral column, introduction to intervertebral disc herniations, workshop on clinical cases of the module and general cases.
Module 8: Practical Arthroscopy
- Topics: Practical approach to arthroscopy.
Module 9: Advanced Techniques
