Economics and International Relations (MA(Hons))
Program Overview
It prepares students with analytical and comprehension skills for diverse roles, including financial planning, economics, politics, marketing, and journalism. Graduates are well-positioned for high-earning career paths.
Program Outline
Traditionally economists advise on investment, inflation, interest rates, and production. Increasingly however, economics takes a wider focus with many economists examining climate change, inequality, and improving healthcare. Conflict, cooperation, and the increased significance of non-state actors are all hallmarks of the world today. By studying International Relations, you will develop the skills and tools to make sense of these complex interrelationships. The MA degree means you study Politics alongside other subjects from History to Geography, languages to Psychology. At Levels 3 and 4 you will be able to specialise.
