- Types of copywriting: This module delves into various copywriting formats, including advertising, social media, emails, newsletters, and press releases.
- The inverted pyramid format of writing: This module explains the importance of the inverted pyramid format in writing and its role in balancing copy with visuals.
Teaching:
The course is delivered in-person at the Summit Centre in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The course duration and schedule are to be announced soon. The course is taught by Faye Stenson, a copywriter, marketing communications specialist, mentor, and trainer. Faye runs her own copywriting and content writing business, Black & Write, and has worked with clients of all sizes, including household names like Travis Perkins, E.ON, Homebase, and The University of Greenwich.
Other:
The course is offered free of charge to eligible participants who live or work in the towns of Kirkby-in-Ashfield or Sutton-in-Ashfield. The course is funded by the Government's Towns Fund through the Enterprising Ashfield project. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the course.
