- A number of industry days and events are also held on campus and within the Sheffield Cultural Industries Quarter, where students will take part in workshops, talks, and exhibitions held by creative media industry representatives, professionals, and companies/ organizations.
- The superb industry links, projects, site visits and field trips involved in this course provide ample networking opportunities.
- Students will have access to industry-standard software and hardware tools such as Adobe and Apple software.
- Students will be supported in finding placements and can apply for a vacancy as they would like a job. There are dedicated sessions to support them in CV writing, interview skills and job applications.
- The placement starts in the second year and most are paid.
- Students can apply for the placement route by selecting the two-year course length.
- The program is taught at City Campus through a structured mix of lectures, seminars and practical sessions as well as access to digital and online resources to support learning.
- The program is located in the heart of Sheffield, within minutes of the train and bus stations.
- Students have access to Adsetts Library, which is located on City Campus and is open 24 hours a day, every day.
- The program is periodically reviewed and enhanced to provide the best possible learning experience for students and ensure ongoing compliance with any professional, statutory and regulatory body standards.
