Entry Requirements:

  • All Students:
  • Normally, a good honours degree (typically 2.2 or above) from a UK university or equivalent from an overseas university, with significant aspects of IT.
  • Applicants who do not meet these academic criteria but have several years of experience in expert, managerial, or senior IT roles will be considered.
  • Credit points may be claimed to reduce the time needed to complete the qualification at Sheffield Hallam.
  • Overseas Applicants (Non-native English Speakers):
  • Must provide evidence of English proficiency.
  • An IELTS score of 6.0 with 5.5 in all skills (or equivalent) is the standard.
  • If English language skills are below an IELTS score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills, a Sheffield Hallam University Pre-sessional English course is recommended.
