The course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), providing students with valuable industry credentials.

The course focuses on the real-world application of PR and communication theory. Students will work on live briefs with real clients, learning how to work with bloggers and journalists and develop an organization's reputation. They will also explore the day-to-day realities of the job, such as writing sharp news releases, managing a crisis, and examining how ethics are central to the public relations sphere.

Other:

The course is offered part-time and takes two years to complete. The program starts in September 2024. Students will study at City Campus, which is located in the heart of Sheffield, within minutes of the train and bus stations. The course is not open to international students who require a Tier 4 (General) student visa to study in the UK.
