Program Overview
This Honours program in English and Creative Writing allows students to pursue an intensive research project under academic supervision, deepening their knowledge and research abilities. It offers flexibility with electives such as Special Project, Research Methods, or HDR Industry Placement to enhance students' professional development. Students will work closely with an academic mentor and complete an Honours thesis to demonstrate their research proficiency.

Working closely with an academic, you’ll undertake an intensive research project on a topic of your choice, and further develop your research ability through an advanced research skills unit.

- EGL5991 Honours Thesis in English and Creative Writing (15cp): Students complete an Honours thesis under academic supervision.
- EGL599 Honours Thesis in English and Creative Writing (12cp): Students complete an Honours thesis under academic supervision AND relevant coursework. A substitute for Specified Electives may be approved by the Supervisor and Honours Chair.
