The Bachelor of Kinesiology in Gerontology program at the University of Regina is a four-year program that combines exercise science and the study of aging. It is one of the few programs in Canada to offer this unique combination. Students will learn about the motivations, interests, needs, and biology of older adults, as well as gain a foundation in core exercise sciences. The program includes a 15-week, full-time fieldwork placement, which provides students with practical, hands-on learning experience and helps them develop professional competency skills.
