Business Administration (MBA)

Program Overview

The Levene Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the University of Regina provides a flexible and career-transforming education through various course formats. It emphasizes leadership, innovation, and problem-solving, enabling graduates to advance their careers in senior leadership, entrepreneurship, and management consulting. The program also offers international study tours, networking opportunities, and partnerships with Harvard Business School and the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants.

Program Outline

You can complete up to 39 career-transforming credit hours in a way that's tailored to fit your busy life, with the option to complete your MBA full time or part time.

Objectives:

• Bring back global business savvy from an optional international study tour.

Teaching:

• U of R offers MBA coursework in many formats: online, one-week intensive, via live stream and traditional lecture style.
• The Co-operative Education & Internship program helps you apply principles learned in class within your career.
• Many advanced career paths become available to you — including vice-president, president and C-level positions.
• After graduating, 76 per cent of Regina MBA students who received a new position said they consider the new position a promotion.

• The University Regina's Master of Business Administration program emphasizes the development of your interpersonal and leadership skills.
• U of R maintains a partnership with Harvard Business School that lets you earn a Harvard Business School Online Credential of Readiness (CORe) certificate along with your MBA.
• We also partner with the Canadian Association of Certified Management Consultants so that you can work toward a CMC designation while earning your MBA.
• The Hill and Levene Schools of Business are proud to host the Saskatchewan Regional Hub of the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH).
WEKH is a national network and accessible digital platform for sharing research, resources and leading strategies in support of women entrepreneurs.
• From spring/summer 2019 to winter 2020, business administration students received more than $200,000 in University of Regina scholarships.
• MBA faculty members and students conduct research in many key areas, including accountability, Indigenous management and socio-economic development, women in leadership, agribusiness and occupational health and safety.
