Resource & Environmental Studies

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Resource and Environmental Studies is a joint program between the University of Regina, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, and First Nations University of Canada. It combines environmental legislation, resource management, and environmental issues with Indigenous perspectives and histories. Students who complete Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Resource and Environmental Law Diploma or Integrated Resource Management Diploma receive 60 credit hours of block transfer credit towards the program's 120 credit hours. • Program Name: Bachelor of Arts in Resource and Environmental Studies

• Joint Program: The program is a joint venture with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Woodland Campus, and First Nations University of Canada.
• Admission Requirements: Completion of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Prince Albert Campus, Resource and Environmental Law Diploma or Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Integrated Resource Management Diploma is required for admission.
• Credit Transfer: Students receive 60 credit hours of block transfer credit for completing the Saskatchewan Polytechnic diploma.
The remaining 60 credit hours must be completed at the University of Regina.
