This Level 3 Food Industry Technologist Apprenticeship is designed to enhance skills and career prospects within the food and drink industry. It requires no previous formal qualifications, provides dedicated functional skills support, and offers opportunities for progression to degree level or industry roles such as Technical Manager, Quality, or New Product Development specialist.

Degree Overview:

Our BA Marketing Management top-up course provides you with the opportunity to develop and demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of marketing and related business subjects, and to develop your practical, critical and analytical skills and attributes. This top-up course is delivered fully online (part-time) meaning you can study at a pace and place that suits you. This means that you don't have to pay the full course cost upfront.


Outline:

  • Structure: This top-up course is the equivalent of the final year of a full-time Bachelors degree, delivered online.
  • Course Schedule: You can choose from three start dates (September, January, May) and typically takes between 12-24 months to complete, subject to your pace of study and module availability.
  • You'll study six modules in total, with a maximum of two modules each trimester where available.

Assessment:

  • Assessment Methods: All modules are assessed through a combination of coursework and exams.
  • Assessment Criteria: For the award of BA Marketing Management you must successfully pass all six modules, giving a total of 120 credits.
  • All modules are 20 credits.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • UK Students:
  • GCSE maths or international equivalent – minimum 4 / C or above
  • GCSE English or international equivalent – minimum 4 / C or above.
  • Maths functional skills Level 1 (and must be willing to gain Level 2 during your apprenticeship)
  • English functional skills Level 1 (and must be willing to gain Level 2 during your apprenticeship).
  • If either English or maths results are scored at E3 and the candidate can demonstrate more than 2 years experience in the food industry applications will be considered.
  • This is on the condition that the other subject scored Level 1 or above.
