Program Overview


This short course empowers students with the tools and best practices for developing and producing original podcasts. Led by experienced industry tutors and technicians, it offers one-on-one guidance and a creative studio environment for collaboration and idea exchange. Upon completion, students receive a certificate and the skills to use podcasts effectively for reaching audiences and enhancing their portfolios. The course also fosters connections and provides social opportunities through events hosted by university student ambassadors.

Program Outline


Degree Overview:

This short course is designed to introduce students to the best practices of developing and producing an original podcast. The goal is to equip students with the knowledge and technical skills to create a successful podcast and reach new audiences. The course emphasizes a creative studio culture that promotes discussion, collaboration, experimentation, and idea exchange. With a limited class size, students receive one-on-one attention from an experienced tutor with industry connections. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of attendance. Students receive 25 contact hours of quality tuition from experienced tutors and technicians from NTU's Broadcast Journalism undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs.


Careers:

The course aims to provide students with a real experience of university life, help them make new friends with similar interests, and develop their portfolio. Upon successful completion, students receive a certificate of attendance, which can enhance their CV. The course can also count as a Gold DofE Residential for Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award participants.
