The module will cover historical and current developments towards the development of the `new' financial systems architecture and the challenge for harmonisation.

- Description: This module prepares the students for roles in treasury and risk management. Asset and Liability management is core to the sustainability of financial institutions especially banks, hence, this module focuses on the tools, techniques and models of bank risk measurement and management.
- Banking and Finance Project (20 Credits)

- Status: Compulsory The focus is on the implications of environmental changes to the structure and performance of global banking groups.

Entry Requirements:
- Successful completion of the first two years of a relevant business, economics, accounting or finance degree, or HND (or equivalent overseas qualification such as the Chinese Dazhuan).
- If you hold a qualification at Level 5 or above in a relevant area, your application may also be eligible subject to a satisfactory module mapping.
- In addition, you should hold Mathematics GCSE at grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
