Outline:

The program is structured as follows:

• Duration: 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time for September start, 16 months full-time or 32 months part-time for January start.
• Location: Bournemouth University, Talbot Campus.

• Data Storytelling:
Develop skills in visualizing data and utilizing them in effective narratives for business decision making or research communication.
• Applied Programming for Data Science: Develop fundamental programming skills to effectively use state-of-the-art tools and technologies for Data Science, and introduce application of basic AI models.
• Human Computer Interaction: Develop design and methodological skills for developing AI solutions that interact with human end-users effectively and safely.
• Data Processing and Analytics: Develop technical skills with databases (relational, graph, and NoSQL) and core analytics of data, including machine learning.
• Industrial Skills and Professional Issues: Develop transferable professional skills for independent projects and future careers.

£10,000 (UK, ROI & CI) All fees are quoted in pounds sterling and are per annum. Your tuition fees will be the same for each year of your course.

The BU Language Centre to help you develop/improve foreign or English language skills. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year security team. Loan of lab coats and safety glasses. Laptops, tablets and mobile devices and any software used on personal devices. Textbooks, general stationery and other supplies. The Students’ Union shops stock a wide range of stationery supplies on both campuses. Accommodation and living costs. Travel costs, for optional field trips, outdoor wear and footwear for mandatory and optional field trips (if applicable). Expenses relating to placement or research projects e.g. travel etc. up to a maximum of £200 per student. SportBU membership. While all aspects of the programme, including required field trips, are included in the fee, additional, optional or extra curricula activities may be available for which a student contribution is required.
