This online course is designed to help engineers and geoscientists prepare for the National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE) required for licensing as a Professional Engineer/Geoscientist (P.Eng / P.Geo) with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). The course covers topics related to professionalism, ethics, professional practice, communication, law for professional practice, professional law and regulation, and discipline processes.


Outline:

The course is self-paced and can be completed within an eight-week period. It includes:

  • 215 practice multiple-choice questions
  • A mock exam with 100 multiple-choice questions
  • 11 modules covering topics such as professionalism, ethics, professional practice, communication, law for professional practice, professional law and regulation, and discipline processes.

Assessment:

The course includes multiple-choice exams to track progress.

This is a self-directed online course.


Careers:

Passing the NPPE is an important step to get your license as a Professional Engineer/Geoscientist (P.Eng / P.Geo) with The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
