Program Overview
It consists of an online self-study component (10 hours), a written test, and a 2-hour lab that may be scheduled at your facility. The required textbook is Fundamentals of Sterile Products Preparation for Pharmacy Technicians. Lab kits will be provided.
Program Outline
Pharmacy personnel who compound hazardous drug products will complete a theoretical and practical assessment of hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding processes. Completion of a written test, a media fill test and gloved fingertip sampling are included in this course.

The first ten hours of this course are online self-study. You will get access to this component on the start date. The online component must be completed two days before the lab component.
