This self-paced online course teaches the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) classification system and its application in diagnosing and treating mental illness. Assessments are case study based with no exam. It qualifies for continuing education credit and meets coursework requirements for the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) Clinical Registry.
