Writtle's Canine Therapy course blends academic and vocational studies, preparing students for careers in canine therapy. Covering topics like canine anatomy and massage, the course offers hands-on experience with specialized equipment in the Lordship Canine Centre. Guided by expert veterinary professionals, students develop recognized hydrotherapy skills and create personalized care plans for animal clients.
Program Outline
It covers topics such as canine anatomy, physiology and biomechanics, as well as focusing on canine massage and hydrotherapy. As a student in Writtle, you’ll use specialist equipment in our Lordship Canine Centre, including a hydrotherapy pool and underwater treadmill. You’ll gain recognised skills in hydrotherapy as you take part in commercially run sessions with real cases, helping to compile structured care plans for injured or post-operative animals.

- International students starting 2024/25 (full-time, per year): £15,900
- We offer a scholarship of £2,000 to international students starting courses at Writtle in 2024-25. This scholarship is automatically deducted from your fees.
- You can pay your fees upfront, in full or in two instalments. We will ask for a deposit of £4,000 or a sponsorship letter
