The program focuses on designing packaging that meets the requirements of the product being packaged, the packaging line, the distribution cycle, use, and end-of-life.
Objectives:
- Gain confidence in participating in the systematic process of packaging development, knowing how to manage the key criteria that condition the final solution, such as:
- Interaction with the product to be packaged
- Compatibility with available packaging resources
- Sectoral regulatory requirements
- Customer specifications and consumer use
- Packaging circularity and end-of-life
- Acquire key knowledge about materials, packaging technology, legal and market requirements to ensure packaging that meets the required functionality in a responsible manner with the environment.
- Responsible packaging allows ensuring maximum functionality with the right type of material, thus guaranteeing the observation of the best circularity strategy for each application (reduce, reuse, recycle, renew).
Teaching:
- Modalidad: The program is taught in a blended format with face-to-face sessions and interactive videoconferences.
- Methodology: Theoretical-practical with the development of a practical case aligned with the interests of the participants, starting from the briefing for the development of a container and presentation of alternatives to evaluate.
