Program Outline
It aims to support students in developing their knowledge and understanding of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, exploring presentations and clinical management. The course is taught by the University of Bolton in collaboration with expert clinical practitioners from practice.
Objectives:
- Develop advanced knowledge and clinical skills in the systematic assessment of patients who present with acute and chronic respiratory disease.
- Build knowledge of normal physiology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology underpinning respiratory medicine.
- Understand the interface between respiratory medicine and acute medicine, ambulatory care, and primary care.
