The Professional Doctorate in Social Sciences (DSSci) is a two-phase program designed for professionals seeking to enhance their academic and research capabilities while continuing their practice. Through a blended learning approach and mentorship, students develop leadership, research abilities, and the capacity to critically analyze social issues and contribute to social science knowledge. The program is delivered by experienced faculty from the School of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law and supports interdisciplinary research collaboration through the Institute for Social Sciences Research.

The Professional Doctorate in Social Sciences (DSSci) is designed for individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in an academic setting while continuing their professional practice. The program consists of two phases:
- Taught Phase (2 years): Comprises 180 credits of coursework delivered through a blended approach of online and in-person classes.
- Research Phase (2 years): Involves conducting original research related to the student's professional field, culminating in a doctoral thesis. The program aims to develop students' leadership and applied research abilities, enabling them to critically analyze social issues, generate innovative solutions, and contribute to the advancement of social science knowledge.
Teaching:
The program utilizes a blended learning approach, combining online and in-person teaching methods. In-person teaching is concentrated during two teaching weeks each year in February and June. The program is delivered by a team of experienced faculty members from the School of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Law.
