- The program is offered as a full-time program but is taken on a part-time basis over two years.
- Students are required to work in an older person setting for the duration of the program.
- Students can opt to exit with a Graduate Diploma after completing Year 1 or progress to Year 2 for the MSc award.
- The program includes 500 hours of clinical practice time in Year 1.
- Students are required to attend 13 days of university sessions in Year 1 and workshop days in the Autumn semester of Year 2.
- Students are assigned academic supervisors for Year 2.
