Program Overview

This micro-credential is a single module within a larger further award (eg. Certificate, Diploma, Masters). Students on this module are exposed to the underlying principles and frameworks of interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Family Intervention Skills, Motivational Enhancement Skills, etc. This module will help students develop their advanced clinical skills and critical understanding of assessment, case formulation with a particular focus on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
