Program Structure:

  • Stage 1: Taught part of the program (nine modules), delivered over one academic year.
  • All modules are assessed by assignment.
  • Stage 2: On successful completion of the nine modules, students undertake a 6-month industrial-based dissertation while working in their place of work.

Course Schedule:

  • Full-time course with an average of 15-18 contact hours per week.
  • 50% face-to-face contact and 50% virtual delivery.
  • Modules are normally delivered weekly on 2 mornings, 1 afternoon, 2 evenings, and Saturday mornings.

Teaching:

  • Blended delivery approach with live and online lectures/workshops.

  • The course is designed to provide a bridge for graduates with a degree in science or related disciplines to the specific requirements of the pharmaceutical sector.

Honours bachelor degree in science or related discipline at 2.2 grade or higher or equivalent qualification. Selection will be by interview. Depending on the course of study applications will be assessed based on your academic grades and may also take into account your work/life experience. Applicants will also be required to attend for interview. Interviews will be virtual applicants do not have to attend in person. Personal Statements are required for this course. Please remember to include this with your application. Applicants for this course should have a minimum IELTS (Academic Version) English Proficiency of 6 overall (or equivalent) with nothing less than 6 in each component.
