Program Overview
The LLB is a 60 ECT Level 8 add-on to the Bachelor of Arts in Law (LLB) that provides an advanced legal perspective. Students take six modules from options including Employment Law, European Human Rights, and Jurisprudence. The program is recognized by King's Inns as a qualifying law degree for admission to the Barrister at Law degree. Graduates can pursue careers in law, civil and public service, or the private sector.

Degree Overview:
The LLB is a 60 ECT Level 8 add-on to the TU112 Bachelor of Arts in Law (LLB). It offers students an advanced, critically informed perspective on key elements of Irish and International legal systems. This course, in combination with TU112, is recognized by King's Inns as a qualifying law degree for the purpose of admission to the Barrister at Law degree.

Program Content:
Students can take between one and six modules or subjects per academic year. A total of 6 modules or 60 credits is required to complete the program.

Course Schedule:
Students take six modules of their choice from those offered. These may be taken over one or two years with a minimum of three modules. Classes are held four evenings per week, and depending upon subject choice, students also attend tutorials on four Saturdays per academic year.
Assessment:
Students are assessed through a mix of continuing assessments and examinations.
Careers:
The LLB is an internationally recognized legal qualification that can be used as a gateway to the legal and allied professions. Many graduates of the program have gone on to qualify as Solicitors and Barristers both in Ireland and the UK.
