Program Overview
This online Master of Science degree is designed for current and aspiring Software Architects, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and recognition needed to excel in their roles. Delivered through a blended learning approach emphasizing practical application, the program is accredited by the International Association of Software Architects (IASA). Graduates are eligible for associate membership of IASA, with more experienced architects eligible for professional membership.

Degree Overview:
This online part-time program aims to equip current and potential Software Architects with the skills, theory, and recognition they need to excel in their roles. It is the first program to offer a full Master of Science degree in this specialized area through a blended learning approach that emphasizes practical application in the workplace. The program is delivered by a consortium led by TU Dublin (School of Enterprise Computing and Digital Transformation) in collaboration with the International Association of Software Architects (IASA) and the Irish Computer Society (ICS). Successful graduates of this program are eligible for associate membership of IASA, while more experienced Software Architects may apply for professional membership.

Course Schedule:
The course is delivered online two evenings per week. An initial two-day session is delivered in person at the start of each year. Some optional additional on-campus events may also be held.
Careers:
Graduates of the course develop knowledge, skills, and attributes around human dynamics, business, technology and strategy, IT Architecture, IT Quality Attributes and Environments which will support them in roles as IT Architects. The course also equips them to carry out applied research in topics at the cutting edge in this field.
