The Diploma of Wine at UniSQ is a unique, one-year program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of wine science. It offers a choice of minors in Grape Growing, Wine Making, or Wine Business Management, and includes residential schools for practical experience and industry connections. The Diploma of Wine at UniSQ is the only undergraduate diploma of its kind currently offered in Australia. It provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts of wine science. Students can also broaden their skills by choosing a minor in Grape Growing, Wine Making, or Wine Business Management.

Program Description:
The Diploma of Wine is a one-year program that consists of eight units. The core courses cover topics such as wine chemistry, wine microbiology, and wine sensory evaluation. Students can also choose to take elective courses in areas such as viticulture, enology, and wine business.

Residential Schools:
All students will have the opportunity to come on-campus for residential schools, where they will attend face-to-face lectures and tutorials to gain practical experience, use facilities and specialist equipment, and meet staff and other students.
Industry Experience:
Students will gain valuable industry experience during the residential school courses at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism in Stanthorpe, Queensland. They will also have the opportunity to achieve internationally recognized certification from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
Further Study:
After successfully completing the Diploma of Wine, students can go on to complete the Bachelor of Science (Wine Science).
