Program Overview
The DMD program prepares students for a career as a dentist through comprehensive coursework in basic science and dental disciplines, including clinical procedures and simulation lab experiences. In the final years, students work with diverse patient populations to gain practical experience. This in-person program emphasizes experiential learning and provides a solid foundation for a successful career in dentistry.

You want to take care of people’s pearly whites? In fact, your education here will be so comprehensive, you'll start right out of the gate with rigorous basic science classes, as well as dental courses that emphasize and build on your clinical activities. And that's just your first year. By your second year, you'll have experienced performing dental procedures such as simple fillings, medical history reviews, charting, chairside assisting, impressions, and X-rays. Finally, in your third and fourth years, you'll be devoted to the clinic, where you'll work with diverse patient populations to get a variety of experiences.
