Program Description:
The program requires 15 hours of coursework, including mandatory courses in Presentation and Discussion Skills, Writing Research for Broad Audiences, and a research communication portfolio class. Students can then tailor the remaining coursework to their interests by choosing eight hours of elective credits from a diverse range of courses offered in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences, the Collat School of Business, and the Graduate School’s Professional Development Program. These electives include Writing in Popular Periodicals, Visual Rhetoric, Science Communication, Web Analytics, and Social Media Marketing.
