Program Overview
The UAB Information Systems BS program blends technology and business, equipping students for careers in systems analysis, project management, and more. Graduates can pursue careers in cyber security, data analytics, hardware/software development, and internet application development. The program offers two concentrations: Cybersecurity Management and Data Analytics, and is available on-campus or 100% online.
Program Outline
The program prepares students for careers in information systems, systems analysis and design, IT project management, and more. The curriculum covers topics such as Business Programming, Introduction to Database Management Systems, and Business Data Communications. Upon graduation, students can pursue careers in cyber security, data analytics, hardware or software development, technical sales, and internet application development, among other careers.
