The program is specifically tailored for Nurse Practitioners and other healthcare providers with a master's or doctoral degree, who may be eligible for the advanced placement option.
Other:
- The program is a three-year program starting during the fall semester (pre-fall for CM pathway students).
- Students must show proof of coverage for malpractice liability prior to starting clinical rotations.
- Students are responsible for their own medical and dental care while enrolled in the program.
- Students may need to submit to, and be financially responsible for, any reasonable health screening that is required by a clinical agency beyond that required by The Midwifery Institute at Jefferson for admission.
- The program offers an Advanced Placement option for Nurse Practitioners, foreign educated midwives, and MEAC-educated, Licensed, Certified Professional Midwives.
