French Minor

Program Overview

Through coursework in intermediate and upper-division French, students develop fluency in speaking, comprehending, writing, and reading French. They also gain insights into French history, culture, and global perspectives, preparing them for diverse careers or graduate studies in related fields.

• FR 301 Intermediate French Composition and Phonetics I (4 credits)
• FR 302 Intermediate French Composition and Phonetics II (4 credits)
• FR 303 Intermediate French Composition and Phonetics III (4 credits)
• Upper Division Credits: 6 credits of upper division French courses.
• Total Credits: 18
• Note: "Students who begin coursework at a higher level than 301 can substitute other courses in consultation with their adviser.
