Degree Overview:

UNT's 30-hour Master of Science in Advanced Data Analytics with a concentration in Digital Retailing provides the breadth and depth of experiences to enable you to become a key member of a digital retailing business.


Objectives:

  • To equip students with the skills and knowledge to analyze data coming from multiple channels, deriving insights to increase customer engagement and meet revenue goals.
  • To combine digital retailing, big data analytics, machine learning, cloud computing and data visualization with real business case studies.
  • To help students advance in their current job or help launch a new career in an expanding job market.

  • Industries need experts who can analyze and interpret data to help them understand their risks, increase their profit and grow their business.
  • Break into the in-demand field of data analytics and make yourself more valuable to employers with a master's in Advanced Data Analytics (ADTA).

Other:

  • The accelerated online option provides five start times per year: fall semester: August and October; spring semester: January and March; and summer term: June.
  • Students can complete their degree in as few as 12 months by choosing the accelerated online course format.
  • Students can also choose to take a concentration consisting of 18 hours of core coursework with 12 hours of coursework in their concentration area.
  • Available concentrations include: Digital Retailing, Health Data Analytics, Management and Statistics.
  • For students who want the in-person experience, our core courses are offered at UNT at Frisco and the main campus in Denton in the traditional 16-week semester in the fall and spring semesters.
