We investigate the responses of cells to genome damage and their relationship to cancer and other aspects of human disease. Our research is currently funded by a variety of agencies including: Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council Cancer Research UK Medical Research Council The Wellcome Trust.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • Degree requirements: Normally, an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above is expected.
  • Subject-specific requirements: The qualification should be in a relevant science subject.
  • Applicants with other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing may also be considered.
  • International requirements: Specific entry requirements vary by country.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • IELTS (Academic): High level (6.5 overall, including at least 6.0 in each component).
  • Scores are valid for two years from the test date.
