Program Overview
This MSc Nursing (Child) program prepares individuals to become children's nurses with a wide array of career prospects, including specialization within hospitals, community services, and other healthcare settings. Additionally, graduates have the opportunity for career advancement in leadership, management, and research.

As a children’s nurse, you’ll have a wide choice of career options. Following registration as a children’s nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, you can continue your career in a variety of settings, including specialist children’s hospitals, general hospitals and paediatric community services/teams. Some of our MSc Nursing (Child) graduates go on to work in leadership, management, consultancy, education and research. There are also exciting opportunities for further professional development and specialism.
2024/25 Tuition fees UK Full-Time £9,250 a year The University may administer a small inflationary rise in tuition fees, in line with Government policy, in subsequent academic years as you progress through the course. EU/EEA and Swiss students who have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme, as well as Irish nationals, may be eligible for the UK tuition fee rate. Financial support Students on this course may be entitled to the NHS Learner Support Fund if eligible. UK students enrolling on the course may also be eligible to apply for additional funding to help with living costs. Applicants to Student Finance should apply for undergraduate funding. The exception to this rule is if you are applying to Student Finance Wales. Student Finance Wales treat the funding for this course as postgraduate. Money Matters EU/EEA and Swiss students who have settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme may be eligible to apply for financial support.
